Reading a thousand books to your child sounds daunting but it doesn’t have to be!  If you read just three books a day, in just one year you’ll have read 1,095 books.  Plus, you’ll help your child develop important pre-reading skill and set them up for later success in school!

Join the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Ritzville Public Library

• Get a packet to record the number of books your child reads.
• Visit the library after every 100 books to receive stickers and other prizes
• Your child’s name will go on the Wall of Fame when they reach 1000 books
• FREE and open to all children, birth to kindergarten
