Youth Advisory Council (YAC)

What is YAC?
YAC is a volunteer group whose members work on library projects, provide ideas and event feedback, and help plan YAC and library events for tweens and teens with help from library staff.

Who Can Join?
Membership is open to any youth from 5th to 12th grade in our East Adams County service area (Benge, Lind, Ritzville, Washtucna, and surrounding areas).

When Does YAC Meet?
Monthly meeting dates will be decided by YAC members. Stay tuned!

Why Should I Join?
Free food, community service hours (which looks great on college and job applications!) AND you get to make recommendations to library staff about great ideas for tween and teen events, and new books and games you'd like to see in the Teen Room!
