What Kinds of Questions can I Ask?

• Factual questions that can be answered with encyclopedias and other reference books at the library, library databases, or reliable websites
• Genealogy and local history questions
• Library staff cannot provide medical or legal advice

We'll make every attempt to answer your question as quickly as possible. Some questions may require you to come to the library in person to assist with more lengthy research.  Can't make it to the library to do more lengthy research yourself?  You can learn more about our available research services here. 

How to Ask a Question
You can ask a question in person at the front desk, by email, or by calling the Library at 509-659-1222.  You can also connect with us online and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible!
